Applicant Information
The Blue Hill Housing Authority (BHHA), also known as Westgate Manor, welcomes all individuals to request or submit an application for housing. No applicant will be denied the right to apply, except in the event that BHHA has formally announced the temporary closure of all or part of the Waiting List.
How to Apply
Applications may be submitted in person at the BHHA office, located at 705 W. Seward Street, Blue Hill, NE, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. during normal business hours. Applications may also be submitted by mail to P.O. Box 476, Blue Hill, NE 68930, or by email at bhhousing@gtmc.net. If you would like to request an application to be mailed, please reach out to the office at 402-756-2621.
Application Requirements
A completed written application, signed by the Head of Household, Co-Head, or Spouse, is required for all applicants seeking admission to housing. All applications must be hand-written.
After Applying
- If there is no waiting list, BHHA staff will interview the applicant and review the application, verification, and screening process.
- If there is a waiting list, applicants will receive correspondence by mail or email.
Applicants are responsible for keeping all information current during the waiting period. This includes reporting any changes to family size, income, status, or contact information.
